Gerry and I spent a few days at Stanhope Beach, PEI in early August 2011. I took several pictures while walking on the beach in anticipation of painting a picture back at the hotel. Gerry is a real sport and is always carting in the easel and canvass. This is a 16 x 20 arcylic on a gallery wrapped canvass.
I really like this. When I quickly looked at it the first time I thought of poppies. Brings together the tranquility of beach and flowers.
