Another creation from the 2011 Fall art class session. Lesson that evening was painting fruit and placing the glass bowl around it. I started this shortly after Thanksgiving 2011 when the whole family was home and we went apple picking on the Kingston Peninsula, I wanted to capture the feeling of the beautiful sunny afternoon we spent outside. It is an acrylic on a 16 x 20 gallery wrapped canvas, I think it needs a different shaped bowl with more shadowing, so don't be surprised if it reappears on the blog a little revised in the future.
